HELP SHAPE THE FIRST RELEASE

Become an E-Bike Companion tester

We're looking for Android users and e-bike owners to help test the app, find bugs and improve bike compatibility information before the first public release.

Testing recruitment is open. Google Play access is invitation-only while we prepare the test track. Submit a private application below; accepted testers will receive the approved opt-in link by email once it is available.
📱

General Android testing

Check startup, navigation, settings, ride screens, app stability and offline behaviour across different Android phones.

🚲

E-bike compatibility

If you own an e-bike, help document the model, display and controller where known, and report what the app can actually observe.

🗺️

Maps and ride tools

Try importing supported MBTiles maps and GPX routes, and test ride recording while stationary or in a safe, controlled situation.

🔬

Read-only research

Help evaluate Bluetooth discovery and diagnostic clarity. Experimental drivers are intended to remain read-only; don't test while riding.

Apply to become a tester

Use this private application form to tell us what you can test. Your application is stored as an issue in the private E-Bike Companion app repository, visible only to repository collaborators. Your email and application details will not be posted to the public community repository.

Applications are reviewed manually in the private app repository. Submitting this form does not automatically grant access. If accepted, you will receive an invitation by email with the Google Play testing instructions when the test track is ready.
What can you test?

Please do not submit GPS routes, serial numbers, credentials, health data or other sensitive information. See our privacy policy. Your application is sent to the private repository through a server-side endpoint; the GitHub credential is never included in this page.
